How to Use:
Enter the total Wattage of your appliance, eg 1000W (this is the same as 1kW), the percentage it is actually using power (AKA the 'Duty Cycle') eg, a water heater on a thermostat may use power for only 50% of the time once the water is hot (if you not sure then leave at 100%), how many hours it is on for, including any 'off peak' hours and then enter the cost per KWh, eg 30p.  If you have a low rate, eg E7 then enter the rate and number of hours it is on during the low rate times too.  Now click the 'Calculate' button to get an estimate of the running costs over various time periods or click 'Reset Values' to restart and calculate another appliance.
Note: Not working for you on Android/IOS?  Please reset your browser 'Cache' and try again.
